The book I present here includes a group of critical readings of poetic and narrative texts by poets and novelists, some of whom published one work and others who have a longer experience and broader experience. However, my reading of texts did not depend on the foundations of the literary experience of the poet or writer, but rather relied on considering the text as a living creature that possesses its own characteristics. I did not adhere to a specific method, but rather started from a set of knowledge that helps illuminate the text and reveal its secrets, whether that is extracted from sociology, or from the methods of literary criticism or theories of language. In this way, it can be said that the criterion that I relied on in understanding the text is a subjective criterion, based on an intellectual vision that is selective in its approach, rather than a theoretical one that relies on one specific theory, whose goal is to reach specific results. Such reading, in addition to requiring great efforts and facing great risks due to the expansion of the critical vision, relies on flexibility in this vision that stems from first establishing an intimate relationship with the text and penetrating its themes and ideas to reveal its meanings, structure, and the language that is based on it second. Therefore, in brief, it is an attempt that deals with each text separately, and attempts to illuminate it from within, or in other words, it is an attempt through which I chose the methodological and intellectual tools that I believe are appropriate for the text being reviewed.
